Modder strikes again with PlayStation 3 laptop

The same guy who brought us the Xbox 360 notebook is at it again, this time with a fully functional, 16-pound PlayStation 3 laptop. Gorgeous, yes, but there's only one, and it's about to be auctioned off for charity.Game modder Ben Heck, also known for his Wii laptop and the one-handed Xbox 360 controller, spent a year and a half working on the PS3 laptop (at the behest of the bloggers at Engadget). While it's not exactly small enough to slip into a laptop, it comes fully loaded with a 17-inch, 720p-capable display, an HDMI-DVI output, built-in stereo speakers, a Blu-ray drive, and a full-on QWERTY keyboard. Even better: It was build with the innards of an older, 60GB PlayStation 3, which means it's fully backward-compatible with PS2 games.
