Funky laptop pillows with flair

Most lap desks are boring, but necessary if you want to keep your laptop from singeing your thighs. I'm always looking for practical and unique laptop desks, and Intelligent Forms has three cool styles that caught my eye.

Most lap desks don't really fit in with your living room decor, so I love that both the Button and Terrapin Pillows don't really look like laptop accessories. The Button pillow, for example, is made out of organic hemp and has large buttons sewn onto its surface to provide your laptop with some cooling ventilation when you're surfing the Web in front of the TV. When you're not using it as a laptop pillow, you can simply flip it over, and use it as a headrest.

The Terrapin Pillow is very similar, except this one folds out and conforms to your lap to dissipate heat from your notebook. It has two cute buttons on the end, so you can fold it up, and pack it in your bag when you travel.

My favorite is the super funky Log Pillow that comes with six fabric logs stacked over each other to create one very ingenious laptop pillow. Each log is made out of recycled and organic materials, and has snappy buttons on each end to keep all the logs in place. The bright colors and design makes it look like a toy, so this may appeal more to tweens and teens.

All these laptop pillows looks like something you can totally create yourself if you're the crafty type. I'm certainly not, but the designs have inspired me enough to want to create my own laptop pillow. If you just want to buy one, you can find them on the company's site.
